Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TrackExpnz application and related services (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TrackExpnz helps you record business expenses and mileage, scan receipts for automatic data extraction, and generate expense and tax-oriented reports. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Not Tax, Legal, or Financial Advice

TrackExpnz is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It is not a substitute for professional tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Category suggestions, IRS Schedule C mappings, and mileage-deduction calculations are provided for convenience and may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your records and any figures you report to tax authorities, and for consulting a qualified professional. We do not guarantee any particular tax outcome.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the data and receipt images you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through the applicable app store or payment processor and renew automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data extraction will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackExpnz and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
